Arrow Coffee would like to introduce our June Guest Roaster, Peixoto Coffee! We are thrilled to be partnering with them.
Peixoto is an extremely unique coffee shop in that many of their coffees come from their family farm in Brazil. Their farm, Fazenda São José da Boa Vista, is constantly innovating to produce some of the best Brazilian coffees we have tasted. The first coffee we will be receiving from Peixoto is Colombia Santa Monica. Colombia Santa Monica was produced by Jairo Arcila in the Quindio region of Colombia. This coffee was exposed to a natural dry anaerobic process. Essentially, this means the coffee is fermented in an oxygen free environment. This experimental processing produces a uniquely complex cup and amplifies the sweetness of the coffee. We are tasting notes of plum, raison, and ripe banana with a sweet juicy finish.
The second coffee we will receive is the Brazil Peixoto Honey. This coffee, produced on the Peixoto family farm, is a honey processed coffee. The process of this coffee produces delicate flavor notes and an extremely clean cup. We are tasting crisp notes of white grape, pear, and tangerine with a lingering sweet milk chocolate finish.
